Debasement. Fixed a bug where debasement effects stopped at 90% even though the decree could still be used with no further effect. After 90%, each debasement now adds 1%, up to 99%.
Abandoned provinces. Fixed an event bug that allowed you to abandon a province that was already lost. That choice is greyed out, and when the attack falls on other land the hold option names the province actually under threat.
v1.21

Frontier attacks. Fixed a bug where certain events could trigger an attack on a player-controlled province when no adjacent province was barbarian.
v1.2
24 September 2026
New events. Ten events that never spend or grant gold. They only trade Senate, Public, and Army, with Army and Senate weighted more heavily than before.
Event balancing. Ordinary no-choice cards (harvests, shortages, frozen Rhine, and similar) now keep the old Continue outcome and add one or two better options. Scripted beats such as Attila’s rise, and repeating barbarian marches, are unchanged.
Resource checks. Those better options unlock only if you meet a requirement: Senate, Public, or Army approval, or enough legions. Gold cannot buy them. Locked choices show what you still need.
v1.1
24 September 2026
Exploit fix. Events that ask you to cede a province no longer allow Italy to be chosen. Italy cannot be given away to stay alive while managing resources.
Italy lost = game over. If Italy is lost for any reason—not only land conquest—the reign ends.
Scoring. Final score now also awards 5 points per legion still controlled and 10 points per full battle won (the whole fight, not a single dice roll). The end-of-reign breakdown lists these lines with the rest of the calculation.
Hall of Fame. Four leaderboards, one per background, top 10 each. The overall high score is marked on whichever list it belongs to. Entries show name, class, year, and score.
